
Airfoil allows you to send any audio to AirPort Express units, Apple TVs, and even other Macs and PCs, all in sync! It's your audio - everywhere.
With Airfoil you can take audio from any application and send to your AirPort Express units, as well as Apple TVs, and even other Macs and PCs running Airfoil Speakers! Transmit audio from RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player, and other media players. Send audio from web-based applications like Pandora, Last.fm, and other to the AirPort Express. You can even stream audio from audio devices like RadioSHARK, XM and Sirius radios, around your house.

- Instant On has been updated to version 5.0, with full support for capturing audio from sandboxed applications from the Mac App Store and other sources.
- Airfoil Speakers can now remotely control playback in several new sources, including Pandoras Box, Musicality, Muse, and Muse Controller's Pandora player.
- Airfoil Video Player can again capture from Netflix in full-screen mode, thanks to Silverlight 5 compatibility.
- Remote control via Apple Remote and Keyspan remotes has been restored in Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion).
- Airfoil and Airfoil Speakers now use Apple's open-sourced Apple Lossless encoder and decoder, respectively, for improved audio compression.
- Pulling audio from input devices now uses the preferred stereo channels (as set in Audio MIDI Setup), instead of always using channels 1 & 2.
- The extraneous On/Off checkbox in the Effects window has been removed.
- A hidden Developer News window, to issue important alerts when required, is now included.
- Hidden prefs are now available in the Debugging window.
- A bug where iCloud could cause an output device to appear multiple times has been corrected.
- Album art is now limited to 512x512 pixels, to save bandwidth and improve compatibility with some AirPlay devices that can't handle larger images.
- Airfoil now falls back to the Default Audio Output Device if the currently active device disappears, working around an issue with HDMI-based Mac Minis.
- A crash when receiving audio from Radium has been resolved.
- Airfoil Video Player now offers a Main Window option in the Window menu.
- A bug causing HTML video to display incorrectly has been fixed.
- Several visually misaligned elements in the Preferences window have been corrected.
- The lock icon is now properly shown at all times when a speaker requires a password.
- AppleScript's "connect" option now uses the keychain password if it exists.
- The Speaker Name field in Airfoil Speakers now validates properly.
- Other assorted crashes, memory leaks, and bugs have been squashed.
